Dynamic People Consulting is recruiting for a Deputy Human Resources Manager for one of its clients.
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:-
Bachelors Degree in Business Studies, Administration or Social Sciences;
Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management from professional body;
5 - 8 years working experience with 2 years management experience;
Member of a professional human resource institution;
Sound knowledge of a broad range of human resource management practices;
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management;
Ability to analyze and assess training and development needs;
Ability to negotiate and manage collective bargaining agreements and alternative dispute resolution processes;
Experience working in the manufacturing industry;
Experience working in a unionized environment an advantage;
Expertise in performance management systems and processes;
Sound knowledge of labor laws;
Knowledge of computerized information systems used in human resources applications;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Staff management skills including training and staff development experience;
Honest, a pleasant personality and willingness to go an extra mile;
Ability to work independently as well as a team.
