Finance Manager Job Vacancy for a Tour Operator based in Nairobi Kenya

A well established Tour Operator based in Nairobi with operations throughout Eastern and Southern Africa, is seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated individual to fill the following position:
Finance Manager
Qualifications and Experience
  • B.Com Accounting option or equivalent qualification.
  • CPA (K) or equivalent with at least 8 years post qualification experience, 3 of which should be in a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Navision software packages.
  • Audit experience will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent MS office applications especially Excel skills.
Other Skills and Attributes
  • An understanding of and belief in PEAK East Africa Ltd.’s Responsible Travel philosophy
  • Passion and willingness to travel.
  • Practical general finance and accounting experience in Travel will be an added advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate leadership and ability to foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, tenacity and attention to detail.
  • Must be honest and trustworthy.
  • Manage the financial and Management accounting systems at PEAK East Africa Ltd.
  • Preparation of Monthly / Quarterly and Annual Reports , P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow and Group Disclosure Requirements
  • Budgets and Forecasts
  • Lead the Finance Team
  • Maintain accurate Accounting transaction records
  • Ensure Statutory Compliance for PEAK East Africa ltd.
  • Business Performance Management
  • Acquisitions and Investment Appraisal
  • Intercompany Transaction processing
