ICT Firm Marketing Intern Job in Kisumu Kenya

Grand I.T Solutions is an ICT firm based in Kisumu, Kenya. Our services include Professional Website design and hosting, Software Development, Data Backup & Recovery Solutions, computer repair and Maintenance and Local Area Networking.

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales intern to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • The incumbent will educate, promote and sell our products and services to our target market.
  • Coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities for Grand I.T Solutions.
  • Conduct customer & market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Create, maintain and update a database of existing and potential clients
  • Determine clients’ business requirements and advising them on appropriate solutions
  • Identifying sales opportunities and setting up sales meetings
  • Meeting clients and making presentations on products on sale.
  • Answering any technical questions about our products
  • Develop and generate new business opportunities and acquisition of new project bids
  • Support management  in evaluating new business opportunities by providing marketing analysis
Skills required:
  • Diploma in Marketing or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Excellent customer service, oral communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and a keen interest in IT and business issues
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and email required, including internet proficiency.
  • Excellent selling and presentation skills, Time management and organizational skills
  • Skills in developing and marketing strategies and conducting customer & marketing research.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, and both technical and non- technical, and the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals in a professional and service-oriented manner
  • Naturally persuasive, able to network and cold-call
  • High level of professionalism and work ethics.
  • Helpful, willing and friendly attitude and strong problem- solving skills.
  • Passionate, self-motivated, resilient & innovative
Location: The position is based in Kisumu
