Our client, a reputable company in hay production business with over 12,000 membership from small scale farmers and more than a 1,000 acres of plantation field is looking to fill the position of a Store Keeper who will report to the Farm Manager.
Salary: Ksh. 15,000 – 20,000
 
Job Purpose / Summary:
 
The Store Keeper shall be responsible for storing, recording and maintaining required levels of farm supplies and equipment for the efficient running of the Farm.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Store and release supplies or equipment
  • Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received. Checking the supplies from time to time
  • Record the number and the kinds of supplies and produce
  • Disseminate the produce and stock of equipment and chemicals in designated areas.
  • Fills supply requisitions; assists buyer to order adequate merchandise and supplies; delivers orders to faculty and staff
  • Securing the status of stocks in the store
  • Checking possible damages or scratches on the produce
  • Handle and document storage and transportation of hazardous material
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confident
Required Qualifications
  • KCSE with minimum grade C+.
  • Diploma in Business Management or relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years store keeping work experience

Reporting to Senior Manager- Distribution and Customer Fulfillment, the job holder will ensure that the company’s sales and customer fulfillment objectives are fully met through an efficient sales and operations planning process, materials delivery scheduling, aligning of stocking plans with promotions and continuous demand, and managing the company’s number resources in order to ensure optimal investment in stocks aligned with sales strategy and risk management objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and collate forecast data on sales  from respective demand planning functions and Challenge Demand Planners to increase Demand Planning Accuracy;
  • Co-ordinate with the suppliers/ Production Floor to ensure adequate supply of manufactured / kitted items for On-Time in Full Order Processing;

Minimum requirements

  • At least 3 years Operational experience in Supply Chain Function, specifically Supply Chain Operations, Demand and Supply planning, or Sales Operations.
  • Demonstrate excellent hands-on knowledge of Supply Planning; Sales & Operations Planning Process;
  • Knowledge of Oracle advanced planning;
  • Very Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Team player with excellent influencing skills;
  • High level of Initiative and self-drive;

Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager - Upstream Operations will lead the Exploration and Production function in supporting the overall strategy by planning, monitoring and reporting the upstream affairs of the Corporation in liaison with the Ministry of Energy.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Administering petroleum legislation, regulations, production sharing agreements and policies;
  • Overseeing compliance to statutory requirements and the Corporation’s policies and procedures;
  • Conducting internal exploration programmes and leading the evaluation and interpretation of geo-scientific data;
  • Promoting exploration acreage and monitoring exploration activities in liaison with the Ministry of Energy;

Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager - Downstream Operations will oversee the cost effective implementation of procurement, supply, distribution and oil reserve processes, ensure excellence in customer service and optimization of sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the development and implementation of the Corporation’s operations, customer service, marketing, supply and distribution strategies;
  • Leading the control, monitoring and review of oil stocks at third party installations;

Purpose: The overall purpose of this position is facilitation of logistics support in the region including taking staff to meetings and field visits, maintenance, procurement and safety of vehicle fleet and running official errands.

Responsibilities:
 
1.1 Logistics
  • Assist with management of EWCARDC fleet of vehicles - routine minor and major service, ensuring adequate fuel, checking and keeping record of any damage to vehicle or accident and bringing these to attention of supervisor
  • Ensuring fleet of vehicles have undergone any statutory inspection and other regulatory requirement
  • Ensure logging of mileage of fleet of vehicles is up to date
  • Running daily errands as allocated by SAO based on Errands Request register
  • Ensuring safety of passenger, the vehicle being driven and other road users
  • Invoicing staff for private mileage every month
  • Ensuring EWCARDC Transport Policy is adhered to.
1.2 Others
  • Act as an official EWCARDC bank agent
  • Assist with quarterly and annual stock-take

You will:

The role

Procurement Manager

Job Purpose

To procure quality products and services in a timely manner commensurate with value for the organization in order to maintain optimum stock levels.

Implementation of the overall Strategic Plan with emphasis to the procurement function.

Key Result Area/Principle Accountabilities and Duties
  • Prepare the Procurement Plan and ensure compliance with the Procurement Act and related legislations.
  • Ensure smooth, speedy and efficient procurement of goods and services.
  • Provide support and professional advice to the Tender Committee.
  • Ensure contracts and orders promote cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure stock control and receive requisitions from user departments.
  • Floatation of invitations.
  • Evaluate tenders and come up with recommendations.
  • Verify LPO and LSO.
  • Advise management on the best procurement practice.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Education, Professional Qualifications and Work Experience:
  • Degree from a recognized university;
  • Posses a Post Graduate Diploma in Supplies Management;
  • Be a registered member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management;
  • 5 years experience gained in a busy procurement entity with at least 3 years in a Senior Management position.

Manager — Business Operations

Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate revenue billing and collection function and assist in the formulation of related policies and procedures. 
Implementation of the overall Strategic Plan with emphasis to business operations.

Key Result Area/Principle Accountabilities and Duties
  • To ensure the billing cycle does not fall behind schedule by liaising with other officers.
  • To strategize on the most appropriate revenue collection methods.
  • Assist in the interfacing of both financial and commercial information to eliminate fraud, and enhance revenue base for the Company.
  • Ensure prompt collection of revenue in liaison with the Business Units managers and other functions charged with revenue generation.
  • Oversee the operations of metering, billing and servicing of related equipments, tools and stationery.
  • Manage customer satisfaction levels according to expectation.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Education, Professional Qualifications and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university;
  • Post Graduate qualification in a business related field;
  • 5 years experience with at least 3 years at management level in a similar or comparable position in a busy commercial entity;
  • Be a registered member of a relevant professional body.
